Hey guys! An update! Sweet!

On June 9th, we're going to have a cookout at Mark Nicholson's house starting at 5:30, and then we're going to go to the drive-in in Reo! How awesome!  Try to set aside lawn chairs and battery-powered radios for this one.

Something cool may be going down on June 2nd. Watch for updates. =D

Also: expect famine pictures soon. I have to find a hosting service online that will allow the uploading of billions of pictures easily. ;] Email me if you have any suggestions.

IMPORTANT:  For the summer, office hours are going to be on Thursday afternoons from 2-6 ONLY (no more Tuesdays) effective immediately.  =D

Yay! We've set an official reschedule date for our Paoli trip! As long as the weather holds, we're going to head for the slopes on Saturday, February 25th. All the plans are still the same: leave at 8am and return at 8pm, cost is $54, bring a sack lunch, and some extra money for dinner. We also still need the two permission slips (one for our church and one for Paoli), both of which can be downloaded below. I'll post a new signup sheet also.. sign people up so I have a rough idea of how many to expect!

Hey guys! Just a quick note about some upcoming stuff! Pay close attention!

• There WILL be a Nerf war on Friday, February 3rd starting at 9PM. Invite friends, but please encourage any and all participants to bring their own Nerf guns if possible. =D

• Youth group on Sunday, February 5th will be a little bit different than usual (it's the SUPERBOWL!) The church is hosting a Superbowl party starting at 4:30, and we would like to encourage everyone to come. The Place will be open for hanging out and watching the game.

• On Monday, February 6th there will be a youth music meeting at 6PM. We're going to start what will be a great and rocking music ministry, so bring your instruments (or even just your voice).

I JUST RECIEVED A PHONE CALL FROM PAOLI PEAKS STATING THAT SATURDAY'S SKI TRIP WILL BE CANCELLED DUE TO WARM WEATHER.  THIS IS A VERY SAD DAY, BUT HOPEFULLY WE WILL BE ABLE TO RESCHEDULE.  MAKE SURE YOU TELL YOUR FRIENDS!

Due to the unpredictable nature of Ohio Valley winter storms, Jonny and I have decided that it would be in everyone's best and safest interests to cancel Junior High youth group tonight (Tues. Jan 17th).  We're sorry for disappointing anyone, but it's always better to be safe than sorry.  Have dinner with the folks!  Paint a picture!  Try to drink out of a cup while hanging upside down!  There are lots of things to do this afternoon, and we'll be here next week.
